Jacqui was a great help for us in moving from Denmark to the UK. Jacqui provided a comprehensive tour for 2 days of carefully selected houses according to our brief, as well as combining a selection of schools to visit for our son in the areas of our choice. Relocating from Germany to Buckinghamshire
After having worked in Germany for a period of time, I found a new job in the UK and with a few weeks to go, started looking for properties to rent that suited my budget and also catered for large furniture and a dog. At first I thought it would be very easy but quickly realised that is was a nightmarish task and my stress levels were going through the roof. Thankfully my new company offered very good assistance with relocation to the UK and that is where Jacqui came in. Jacqui was sent our requests, type of house, number of bedrooms, budget, need to accommodate dog and furniture restrictions and then she got to work. The level of communication we received from Jacqui and the constant updates on where she was with the search kept all my paranoid fears at bay. She was open and honest about the problems our restrictions caused and advised us very sensibly to reconsider some of our requests. Right up to very late the day before the viewings Jacqui was still searching for properties. In the end she managed an amazing 20 viewings. She came with us to every viewing, asked pertinent questions of the agent and made two very intensive and busy days an absolute joy. I cannot compliment Jacqui enough on an exceptional search, making everything so easy and being an utter professional whilst at the same time bringing a very personal and fun touch to the whole nightmare that can be with an international house search.

I was recently offered a fantastic opportunity to take a work secondment in the UK. Even though this was for a short period of time (6 months), where I lived was so important to me - it needed to feel like “home”. In addition I had a very short period of time to find this home.

Due to an assignment in the UK, Absolute Home Finders were approached directly by a multi national company to assist with their employee’s relocation to the UK. Combining an orientation of areas within an easy drive to the office, as well as a shortlist of properties closely matching the brief, Absolute Home Finders sourced and secured a deal on a perfect apartment for the client.
Jacqui from Absolute Home Finders provided an excellent service in helping me - a Canadian - find a flat for a nine month assignment in Potters Bar. She worked hard to understand our family's needs and preferences, showed me many options and then made sure we closed the deal so I didn't have to worry about not having a place to live when I arrived. Moving from Scotland to Hertfordshire
A couple with very specific requirements approached Absolute Home Finders to assist with their property purchase due to a new job offer that required them to relocate from Scotland to Hertfordshire. Although the brief was fairly flexible, they did have certain criteria of which could not be compromised. Our priority was to find a property that accommodated wheelchair access, or had the potential to be adapted to provide the space and layout necessary to suit their requirements. A level driveway was vital to enable easy access to their car, as well as doors and hallways providing the exact amount of space required to allow easy navigation around the house. The location of the property was also a priority, in order to provide an easy journey to the office as well as a safe environment for their pets.
Jacqui provided an excellent service when I was relocating to Hertfordshire in search of a property to purchase. Her local knowledge, excellent contacts and ability to understand our requirements meant we were able to make good use of the very limited time we had to find a suitable property. Throughout the relocation Jacqui was professional, organised and a real pleasure to work with – the service she provided was well above the service I expected from a home finder. Due to practicalities and time constraints, the family did not have any spare time to visit the UK personally to view potential properties shortlisting for them, but had the trust and confidence in Absolute Home Finders to find them a suitable home. Relocating from Germany to Harpenden - Hertfordshire
A couple with a baby due in 2 months time, were relocating from Germany to work in the UK on a long assignment. With the imminent arrival of their 1st baby it was imperative that we found a location and property to suit their change in lifestyle for the move to be successful for all concerned. I set up a 2 day search covering a range of property styles and locations within easy commutable distance to Mr R’s place of work but also considering his wife's needs with a new baby to care for. We viewed 20 properties over the 2 days and found more than one that was suitable. After careful consideration of their top 3 properties, a decision was made and their move to Harpenden was very successful.
Last year my wife and I moved to England and had to find a home in a very short period of time. Jacqui was referred to us and it turned out to be a blessing. She not only understood our urgency, with me starting work in a new environment and my wife being seven months pregnant, but also our needs. Though we had tried to research available properties online, it proved unnecessary as Jacqui had every possible property covered ( and some more!) She also kept in mind that we were not only new to the area but also the country so she advised us with the pros and cons of every property ( Noise levels, distance to amenities, child friendliness, etc..) She introduced us to areas we would have otherwise been ignorant of. And we ultimately found more than one property that would suit us. She is not only up to mark on the properties available but also knows the area she operates in very well, which is very important to someone moving from elsewhere.

Having just moved to the UK from the other side of the world I can simply say that Jacqui is a true professional. She quickly worked out what type of housing I needed within the context of what is available in the UK, well before I worked out what I wanted myself! Relocating from Australia to Hitchin - Hertfordshire
Absolute Home Finders were asked to assist an Australian client relocate to Hertfordshire. After receiving a detailed brief, outlining his requirements, I arranged a 1 day home search to fit in with his tight schedule. My client’s preference was to find an apartment with 2-3 bedrooms to accommodate his family when visiting from Australia that was also located close to his new place of work and suited to his lifestyle. After thoroughly researching the market, we started our day with a full itinerary of 12 properties to view. Our 1st viewing of the day turned out to be the perfect apartment that offered him everything he was hoping for! Although we continued the search for the rest of the day, just to be absolutely sure the right choice was made. My client moved in to the property 2 weeks later.

Moving from Malaysia to Harpenden Hertfordshire
Absolute Home Finders were approached to assist a family (originally from Australia ) to find a suitable property and a school for their 2 children in Hertfordshire. In order for the relocation to be successful, it was a priority for the right school to be found first. Many areas were explored where schools had places available for the children, also looking at property options within these areas that closely matched the families requirements. The family required a minimum of 4 bedrooms with a quiet room for a home office, 2+ bathrooms and a good sized garden. After deciding on the most suitable school for the children, the family proceeded with a house we found on day 1 of the search.
We spent a week with Jacqui for our home and school search. Jacqui was punctual, professional and knowledgeable about the housing areas we were looking at. She patiently answered my seemingly endless questions that a person moving from overseas might have, but more importantly she made me comfortable enough to ask.
